Description
My name is Salma R, and I am an experienced home carer with a passion for helping people lead independent lives. As a female carer, I have had experience in providing hourly and overnight care for individuals with varying needs. I have cared for individuals with mild cognitive impairment, those who are bedbound, and those suffering from Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
One of my key attributes is being able to connect with and care for individuals on a personal level. I have developed skills in bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and providing much-needed companionship. I believe that a compassionate and friendly approach is essential in ensuring that my care recipients feel comfortable and supported.
In addition to my caregiving skills, I am also a skilled driver with my own car, allowing me to easily commute to different locations. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and have a passion for walking. I find joy in dancing, cooking and baking, and enjoy socializing and reading. Additionally, I have a preference for pets such as fish and birds, adding an extra layer of companionship to my caregiving role.
Ultimately, my motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I find fulfillment in helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity, and I am committed to providing the highest standard of care possible. My caring nature, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude make me a reliable and trustworthy carer for those in need.
